The Secondary Principle of

FORGIVENESS IS DIVINE

Unlike other parts of church life, it's not always going to work out the way you want it to. What? You mean your congregation is not perfect? But seriously, you're going to fail at this at some point. Eventually, you are going to end up with a pile of paper on your desk and a stuffed inbox. Ask yourself why this happened. Are you bored with your workflow? Perhaps it's time to change something to allow you to keep it interesting. No? Did you just come back from vacation and there's a ton of stuff? Did you get overwhelmed with a funeral or a hospital situation? Zombie Holocaust? Whatever the reason, don't beat yourself up. Anxiety about a tool that is supposed to help you with anxiety is counterproductive. The workflow is made for clergy, not clergy for the workflow (Yes, I'm THAT clever.)

Just stop to get it back in place, pick up the pieces, put it back together, and carry on.
